Totus Environmental Expands Industrial Services Capabilities

Totus Environmental Expands Industrial Services Capabilities

Totus Environmental has taken delivery of its second DISAB Centurion Vacloader LN30, a total £700,000+ investment in the company's growing Industrial Services offering.

The vehicle is the world's first DISAB Centurion to combine ADR and IMDG compliance with a high-tip capability in a semi-trailer configuration. This makes it one of the most versatile Vacloaders operating in the UK, capable of working in extremely hazardous environments and then safely transporting potentially high-risk materials by both road and sea.

The industry leading vehicle will support Totus' clients; including petrochemical refineries, chemical plants and energy generation facilities.  It is also ideally suited to managing powders from cement manufacturing, steel dust and mill scales.

This latest fleet addition is part of an ongoing investment programme in the latest technology to enhance Totus' Industrial Services capability, totalling over £2.5 million in the last 30 months.

Speaking of the investment, Phill Walker, Head of Industrial Services at Totus Environmental commented;

"I am delighted that we have added the DISAB to our fleet to help meet our clients' ongoing requirements. Having joined Totus in 2020, at a time when many businesses were understandably pausing investment, it was greatly reassuring to see that we were in the fortunate position to maintain our planned expansion, with more to come in the future."
