When working with Totus, your health and wellbeing is important; your safety is vital. As a waste business, our operations are varied and some aspects of what we do carry high risk. In recognition of the potentially hazardous nature of the industry in which we operate, health and safety performance evaluation is undertaken throughout our supply chain.
To comply with our ISO45001 accreditation, we are committed to safeguarding the health of all our clients and employees in all aspects relating to the handling and management of waste.
All employees are actively encouraged to contribute towards achieving a work environment that is free of accidents and ill health and report any deficiency in this respect to their line manager or a Director.
A good safety record demonstrates the success of the entire team (management and staff) in maintaining a safe work environment.
To date, we have recorded no serious incidents, but that doesn't mean that we can rest on our laurels. We will always endeavour to continuously review and improve our operating procedures to minimise any risks.
