As Business Development Manager, I am responsible for providing clients with alternative recycling or recovery waste solutions. Whether I’m working with a prospective or existing customer, my aim is to try to add value to every relationship. Having a technical background is also particularly beneficial when working with problematic waste streams and sourcing appropriate treatment technologies, and as such I support all of Totus' divisions.

After several years at University, studying an MPhys and polymer technology PhD projects, I decided that Academia was not for me and needed a new challenge. My inquisitive nature drives me to pursue new experiences and new environments and in 2012, I found this in the waste industry.

The most fulfilling part of my role at Totus is finding opportunities in the challenges that come with working in the rapidly evolving waste industry. We have a highly skilled and experienced team at Totus and it’s our people that enable us to consistently deliver such a  service. This benefits our customers and the business but is also rewarding for me and the whole team.

You will rarely find me sitting still. I’ve always been a very creative person and whenever I have the time, I love any ‘hands on’ project. When I’m not baking, crafting, gardening or building then you will probably find me boxing, weightlifting or neck deep in mud at a Tough Mudder!
