As Commercial Director at Totus, my role is very much about delivering cost effective and sustainable waste and resource solutions for our client base.
Having worked for over 30 years in the waste (now resource) sector, my passion is finding and delivering solutions for waste-derived fuels. I manage the commercial team at Totus, which is made up of knowledgeable experts, who work very closely with our client base, to connect waste producers with energy recovery plants across Europe.
The waste industry is forever evolving, and as a Commercial Director, I have to be thinking ahead, reviewing potential innovations for the future and be a leader in the management of change within this sector. Knowing and caring about the waste / resource sector is a personal passion of mine, and Totus enables me to help deliver solutions for our clients' as well as our supply chain.
As an active members of industry forum groups, including Chair of the Hazardous Waste Management Association, I learn a lot from maintaining connections within the industry. Representing Totus at conferences and external meetings allows us to grow and learn as a business, be pivotal in driving change and innovation through the sector, and then sharing our knowledge for the benefits of our client base across the UK and Europe.
